Massachusetts Home Energy Assistance Programs

  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) – This is often simply called Fuel Assistance. Eligible participants in LIHEAP receive subsidies for a portion of winter heating bills.
  • Heating System Repair & Replacement Program (HEARTWAP) – This program provides emergency heating system repair and replacement services.
  • Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) – Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, this program can provide home energy conservation services, which will help you to heat your home with less fuel.
