Memorial Day weekend is right around the corner!

The unofficial start of summer is also the beginning of grilling season. After this past year, many of us here on the South Shore are looking forward even more than usual to getting together—safely—with family and friends for the holiday weekend.

Now is the time to start preparing for your Memorial Day weekend cookout. You have a lot to do, between making the grocery list and heading to the supermarket store for disposable plates, cups, and cutlery. There’s one more thing to put on your to-do list: Make sure you have enough propane for your grill!

That task is made easy, thanks to Frank Lamparelli! You can access our propane cylinder exchange, located at our office at 1026 Turnpike Street in Canton, MA 24/7. Our self-service cylinder exchange kiosk is fast and easy to use.

Want to refill your propane cylinder? Come to our office during regular business hours and we’ll fill it up for you.

Propane Cylinder Safety Best Practices

NEVER store propane cylinders indoors or in a garage, shed, carport, sunporch, or any enclosed area.

Store propane cylinders outdoors, out of direct sunlight, upright, and on a dry surface. If the ground gets wet, it could cause rusting of the cylinder.

Store propane tanks away from flames and spark-producing tools, including your grill.

When bringing your propane cylinder for refill, keep them upright. Even a cylinder you think is empty can have enough propane to link if it’s on its side. Don’t leave a cylinder in your car for long, especially in warm weather. It’s best to go straight to our exchange or refill station and go directly home.

Make sure you’re ready for Memorial Day grilling—and all the activities to come this summer season! Get the propane you need from Frank Lamparelli.
